This week I finalized all my blogs and worked on my presentation. Overall this project could have been a lot easier if I set up my project differently. I ended up struggling with this project due to time management. That was my main problem with this project was I was too ambitious with my goals. I didn’t set them up so that they'd work with my schedule. M glad I did tho so I’d know for next time.

This week I decided to make hearts. I made simple hearts and heart bookmarks. These weren’t as fun to make as the stars but they’re still cute and simple. The plain heart took a magic ring, chain, treble stitch, double crochet. The Heart bookmark took about the same thing but with more chain stitches and double crochets. These were very simple and I really enjoyed making them. I rate the 3/5 just because they were a little difficult.
This week I made little stars. I saw them on Pinterest and had to make them. They are so cute and simple to make. They took simple stitches such as the magic ring, double crochet, and a simple chain. I give this project a 5/5 it was a very simple project and I really enjoy making these. I also did a little more work on my presentation. Not a very productive week but at least I did something.
This week I focused on trying to make something festive out of a bunch of the stitches I’ve learned so I made a Snowman. This was a lot easier than I expected. I used an increase, decrease, magic ring, double crochet and single crochet. I’d rate this project a 4/5, Not a 5/5 because it did take me a few attempts to get it right but that’s because I’m still struggling to read patterns.
This week I learned the puff stitch while making a flower. The stitches that were needed were the puff stitch (obviously), the magic ring, and basic single crochets and double crochets. I made a bunch of these flowers while trying to learn and some of them look wonky. The other thing I did this week was work on my presentation. I got the template and the layout done.
This week I made a list and reworked my goals completely. In the past six weeks I have learned that my goals were very ambitious and it is extremely difficult to keep up with them. I have decided to focus on just learning new stitches and getting better at crocheting as a whole. I have decided to just focus on learning the smaller things.
This week i have finished the bumble bee from week two and chose the next project which will be started during week seven. I haven't been very productive this week but i give the bumble bee a 2/5 it wasn't very hard to actually crochet it was just bigger and more time consuming then i wanted it to be.
In my previous posts i was attempting to get ahead on projects even though I haven't started them. I haven't finished the bumble bee from week three because I have fallen behind due to other school and work things. I was hoping by writing the blogs it would help me hope them into existence which was not the case. Next week I will be starting a new project I'm not sure if ill end up doing the ones I've already written the blog posts for or if ill just move on and start new ones.
In honor of Halloween coming up I decided to do a little candy corn plush. For this pattern I had to learn how to do a back loop only stitch which wasn't too difficult but I did have a little trouble. I found the pattern on Pinterest and I learned the BLO(Back loop only) on YouTube. It didn't take me too long to make. I only had to but some orange yarn which was about seven dollars. The most difficult part of this project was trying to make connect the colors. which seemed a lot easier than it is. I would definitely do this again.
For this week I have learned how to do a single crochet and an increase stitch. I learned this stitch and pattern on YouTube. They were fairly simple to learn. I just got them mixed up a couple times. I bought black yarn for like 3 dollars and some new hooks for like 2 dollars a piece and I bought 2 new ones. This project was pretty simple. I would definitely make one again!
